Jesus says in John 10:35 'the Scripture cannot be broken.' This shows us how much authority Jesus grants the Scripture.

When the devil questions the Word, Jesus answers him consistently with 'it is written'. Eve made the mistake to doubt God’s words, we shouldn't, because Jesus said in Matthew 5:17 ‘Not one word will pass away’.
