Eric Murphy and Jasmin Lawrence, the son of Eddie Murphy and daughter of Martin Lawrence, respectively, have announced they are expecting their first baby together nearly one year after their wedding. Alongside photos putting her baby bump on full display, Jasmin wrote in the Feb. 2 caption, “Thank you Jesus for the greatest gift.” Of course Martin couldn’t contain his excitement over the thought of his first grandchild. He shared on his own Instagram feed, “Family is everything-and this moment is nothing less than a blessing from God.” Eric and Jasmin—who first started dating in 2021—announced they were engaged in Nov. 2024.
