POTHUVEDHI | TMC Leader Abhishek Banerjee Attack Case | തൃണമൂൽ കോൺഗ്രസ് നേതാവ് അഭിഷേക് ബാനർജിക്ക് പിന്നാലെ മുതിർന്ന നേതാവ് കല്യാൺ ബാനർജിക്കും ബി ജെ പി പ്രവർത്തകരുടെ മർദ്ദനം. ഹൂഗ്ളി ജില്ലയിലെ ചണ്ടിതല പൊലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷന് പുറത്ത് പൊലീസിന്റെ സാന്നിധ്യത്തിലായിരുന്നു മർദ്ദനം. തലയ്ക്കാണ് അടിയേറ്റത്. കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്ത പ്രവർത്തകരെ വിട്ടു നൽകണമെന്നാവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് സ്റ്റേഷനിലെത്തിയ കല്യാൺ ബാനർജിയെയും സംഘത്തെയും അവിടെ തടിച്ചു കൂടിയ ബി ജെ പി പ്രവർത്തകർ നേരിടുകയായിരുന്നു. പരാതിയുമായി പൊലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ എത്തിയ സമയം പ്രകോപനം ഇല്ലാതെ ബി ജെ പി പ്രവർത്തകർ മർദ്ദിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു എന്ന് തൃണമൂൽ ലോക്സഭാ ചീഫ് വിപ്പ് കൂടിയായ കല്യാൺ ബാനർജി പ്രതികരിച്ചു. ഇന്നലെ സോണാപ്പൂരിൽ വച്ച് പാർട്ടി ജനറൽ സെക്രട്ടറി അഭിഷേക് ബാനർജിയെ ബി ജെ പി പ്രവർത്തകർ മർടദ്ദിക്കുകയും മുട്ട എറിയുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.

Following Trinamool Congress leader Abhishek Banerjee, senior leader Kalyan Banerjee has also been assaulted by BJP workers. The attack took place outside the Chandiatala police station in Hooghly district, in the presence of the police. He was struck on the head. Kalyan Banerjee and his group had arrived at the police station demanding the release of workers who had been taken into custody, when they were confronted by BJP workers gathered there.
