ICOLD guidance for slope stability analyses of dams

This video provides an overview of the chapter on Slope Stability Analyses that is included in the ICOLD Tailings Dam Safety Bulletin. It was delivered by Andy Small, Chair of ICOLD Committee L, to the Tailings and Industrial Waste Engineering Centre (TAILENG) on September 20, 2022.

The TAILENG program is a research center that is dedicated to advancing the state of knowledge and practice in the design of tailings and industrial waste storage facilities. TAILENG offers a number of short courses related to tailings dam engineering and Andy Small participated in Short Course 3, Geotechnical Analysis of Waste Storage Facilities. The presentation and associated questions is about one hour long.
