Rusty Industrial Railway Spur Pig Iron Train, Conductor Rides Railcar Off Siding, Central RR Indiana

Weedy worn out railroad spur gets a huge pig iron train! At the south end of Queensgate Yard is an old rusty siding used for loading pig iron chunks. Central Railroad Of Indiana CIND used 3 colorful locomotives to pull the long heavy train on to the CSX mainline. After running around their train and switching the small yard at Oklahoma, Cincinnati, the even longer train is seen passing Canal Ridge Rd just north of Queensgate Yard. I filmed both sides of the train which is always cool. The chunks of pig iron ingots that they haul look like turtle shells and are very heavy. This spur goes behind Longworth Hall in downtown Cincinnati and ends under I-75/I-71. I filmed the train running under Hiway 50 at the CSX connection. Next we see a CIND grain train heading into the yard while crossing a 4 track level railroad crossing that is also used by CSX trains running from Louisville, Kentucky to Cincinnati. Indiana & Ohio Railway uses the same locomotives that CIND uses but this line along the Ohio River is CIND. It confuses everyone and a lot of people just call this I&O.
