Planning a holiday to Fuerteventura? This video is our experience of visiting Corralejo in July 2020 to show you what to expect. Many shops, bars and restaurants are already open, with more due to reopen by the end of the month.

We start at Campanario Shopping Centre, where the markets have now reopened. Afterwards we head into town and give you an update on what is open on the main strip in Corralejo. Most shops have generous sales on at the moment to encourage people to spend. We take you around the Old Town area and Town Beach before stopping for lunch at El Patio Andaluz. Our lunch for 2 was €28 + tip which we felt was good value for the food and service we received. The tortilla at Gilda remains our firm favourite but the tapas at El Patio was fresh, tasty and there was a varied menu. We would like to try their Menu de Dia next which looks like a bargain!
We visit Music Square, see the new tiles dedicated to Nuestra Senora del Carmen 'Our Lady of Carmen' (sometimes referred to as Virgen del Carmen) and talk about Fiesta del Carmen which sadly won't take place this year but usually happens annually on 16th July.
We finish our day off with gelato from El Gusto (don't miss it!) before taking a walk along the beach and visiting Galera Beach Club.
