Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said the company’s projected $200 billion CPU market opportunity includes China, highlighting Nvidia’s continued interest in one of the world’s largest AI and computing markets despite ongoing U.S.-China tech tensions.

Speaking to reporters in Taipei on May 23,, Huang said Nvidia’s H200 AI chips have been licensed for shipment to China and emphasized the importance of expanding computing capacity in the country.

Huang also discussed Nvidia’s upcoming “Vera” CPU platform, describing it as a major step into a new market segment potentially worth $200 billion in the future.

The comments come as demand for AI computing infrastructure continues to surge worldwide, with Nvidia remaining at the center of the global AI boom.
