A new generation of leaders takes charge

The Singapore Story will continue to be written by a new generation of leaders, led by Singapore’s fourth Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. Mostly born after 1965, the 4G team’s leadership style will differ from that of previous generations, shaped by the experiences of post-independence Singapore.

Prime Minister Lawrence Wong was speaking at the swearing-in ceremony at the Istana on 15 May 2024.
