Thank you so much for watching today’s vlog. This one is very personal for me… and honestly a little scary to share. My English isn’t perfect yet, so I hope you don’t mind. I’m learning more and more every week.

Six months ago, my life changed in one second when a smoothie maker exploded in my face. The pressure was so high that it hit my right eye and caused 80% vision loss… and my whole face was injured. I couldn’t even open my eye, and I had no idea how bad it looked until social media went viral with my photos. I never wanted that attention, I just wanted to warn people because the company knew about the risk and only added a sticker to the newer versions.

Today I’m taking you with me to The Eye Hospital in Rotterdam for another check-up on my eye, my nerves, and my hearing. I’m still dealing with hearing loss, but I’m also incredibly grateful… my face healed so beautifully, something I never thought was possible. Every day I focus on good food, rest, love, and gratitude!! I feel blessed to be recovering step by step.

Before my appointment, I walk a little through Rotterdam. I’m hardly ever here, but it really is one of the most beautiful cities in the Netherlands. I was a bit nervous filming today haha. The quality isn’t perfect yet, and I didn’t have a microphone at the time. But my newer videos are already much better.

This video is the start of me finally sharing my real story, my real life, and everything I went through, from the pain and fear, to the lessons and strength it gave me. I’m moving out of the Netherlands soon, and I’ll be traveling the world alone… so this felt like the right moment to be honest with you from the very beginning.

Even though a lot of people judged me, I still believe the world needs more openness and realness. And the beautiful part is: when you show who you truly are, the right people always find you.
