Yakshagana - Lavakusha Kalaga by Kids from DFW Yakshagana Havyasis & MKANT at Navika2021

The story is from Uttara Kanda in which Lava Kusha on how they met their father and returned back to Ayodhya. When Rama carried out the Ashvamedha Yagya, the horse strayed into their forest, which brought them into conflict with their own father. The horse wandered freely over the land. No one stopped it or came in its way. Till one day the horse wandered into a quiet forest by the banks of the Ganga.

Lava captured the horse. Shatrugna fought with Lava and captured him. When Sita came to know about Lava's capture, she became upset and worried. Kusha took permission from Sita, defeated Shatrugna and released Lava.

Rama got to know about Lava and Kusha. He got infuriated when all his army and brothers were lying on battle field. When he confronted Lava and Kusha, he felt love for them. He came to know about Ramayana poem from them. Valmiki interfered when fight broke between them. Valmiki revealed Rama about his kids and convinced him not to fight with his own.
