Cordae opens for Kehlani and plays his song "C Carter" and a brief cover of the Shaggy song "Angel" live in concert before a sold-out crowd at the Fox Theater in Oakland, California on May 20, 2023. C Carter was produced by Daoud and Hollywood Cole and appeared on Cordae's second studio album, From A Bird's Eye View (2022). Angel was released by Shaggy as a single in 2001 and featured Barbadian singer Rayvon. Cordae has been blending the two songs live in concert since his From A Bird's Eye View Tour. Cordae Amari Dunston (formerly YBN Cordae and Entendre) is a singer, songwriter, and rapper from Suitland, Maryland. This was a special show sponsored by Levi's for its 501 Day celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the 501 Jeans.
