Stock Market LIVE Updates: Nifty & Sensex Live | Israel Iran War | Middle East Crisis | Crude Oil Prices | Share Market Live

Benchmark indices ended sharply higher today, with the Sensex rising 900 points, or 1.14 percent, to close at 80,015, while the Nifty gained 285 points, or 1.17 percent, to settle at 24,765. The rally was broad-based, supported by strong buying in metals, infrastructure, energy and auto stocks, while volatility cooled significantly through the session. Market breadth remained firmly positive, with 2,645 shares advancing against 1,426 declines. Adani Ports emerged as the top Nifty gainer, rising over 4.5 percent, followed by Larsen & Toubro which gained about 4 percent. Hindalco Industries climbed around 3.6 percent, while NTPC and Reliance Industries rose more than 3 percent each. Coal India, Bharat Electronics, Shriram Finance and JSW Steel also featured among the major gainers. Sectorally, the Nifty Metal index rose over 2 percent and Nifty Infra gained about 2.2 percent, while the Nifty IT index was the only major sector to close in the red.
