The truth about Mono Rigs

There are a bunch of different ways to setup a mono rig. You can tweak it to fish one way better than another, but I chose an all-around recipe.

Generally 3' of 4x to a tag and about 2' of 5x down to the point

The sighter can be build pretty much anyway you want, in fact you can use off the shelf 1X sighter material, but I think some of the hi-vis mono is brighter and easier to see. This section can be only 2' long if you prefer. I like it longer because its easier for me to find on the water after I cast it.
