Trump resigns from The Screen Actors Guild in brutal email, writes “who cares” to threats to revoke
Donald Trump has retaliated to the Screen Actors Guild union’s threats to revoke his membership by sending a scathing email resigning where he writes “who cares!” and “you have done nothing for me.”
It comes after the SAG-AFTRA board “overwhelmingly” voted that Mr. Trump has violated membership guidelines following the January 6 Capitol riot.
The former president writes that he is proud of his contribution to entertainment industry.
“While I’m not familiar with your work, I’m very proud of my work on movies such as Home Alone 2, Zoolander and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps; and television shows including The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Saturday Night Live, and of course, one of the most successful shows in television history, The Apprentice—to name just a few!”, he wrote.
