turning the Digitakt into an ambient machine (in-depth guide)

hi! this is the setup that allows me to create and improvise ambient, drone or other atmospheric pieces on this small beast, the Digitakt.

when i first started to be interested in live-sets (and consequently, Elektron), I had two clear goals:

1 i wanted an instrument to actually perform. to improvise
2 it has to be fun
3 bonus: portable and smalland

after passing through Analog Rytms, Octatracks and Digis, this is the setup i've come up with and enjoyed the most ^^ a config that allows me to stay open and flexible, facing every day or space as a unique performance. Focusing on sound; from sound design and mixing to actual dramaturgy and emotional expression. No distractions with patterns, presets, syncing... just feeling. Almost in a plug and play approach.

this might has been a long video (sorry) besides being a slow speaker, i couldn't avoid getting on lost on the sound every now and then... that's how rewarding this machine is :)
