Here is a new Flow Breakdown for you guys, this time covering one my favourite rolling patterns!
From complete beginners to elite athletes, learning to roll provides benefits for everyone!
This is why we program rolling patterns into our training regularly.
We love rolling, as it is an awesome way for people to develop confidence on the ground as well as learn how to handle their body at a high velocity.
One of the key and unique benefits of rolling is that it develops your vestibular system. (i.e the body’s on board balance system)
This is the system that communicates to your brain which way is up and which way you are travelling.
This is a fundamental principle for balance and stability.
This one can easily be broken down into 3 Phases, then combined to form the flow!

⚡️THE FLOW:
▪️Flat Roll - Push Up - Mountain Climber + Step Through - Lower Down - Flat Roll Return - Repeat
⚡️Phase 1:
▪️Flat Roll Return x 5 each side
⚡️Phase 2:
▪️ Push Up x 8-10
⚡️Phase 3:
▪️Mountain Climber + Step Through x 6 Total reps

Take care (and your time) with this one as it requires a lot of strength and mobility to perform safely and efficiently.
Slow is smooth, smooth is fast!
