Helmet Cam Ostrich Race at Canterbury Park with Jockey Denny Velazquez

Jockey Denny Velazquez rides an ostrich named "Bird is the Word" in the Don't Lay an Egg Dash at Canterbury Park on July 21st, 2012. After the two leaders in the race were dropped from their mounts, Denny guided Bird is the Word to a 2nd place finish. The Ostrich race was part of Canterbury's annual Extreme Racing Day, where they feature both camel and ostrich races.
