Milan Dvořák : Jazz etude #6 (Bossa Nova)

Phillip Sear plays a bossa nova study from a set of 45 by the Czech composer Milan Dvořák (1934- ). It comes from the first book, published in 1971.

I have to confess that I know very little about the composer of these studies, and only came across this one in a Russian collection of piano music that a viewer referred to me. A recording of the whole set was due for imminent release by Toccata Classics at the time I made this recording. I have heard more manic performances of this, but I prefer it quite laid back!
