10 x 16 Shed Converted into Off Grid Cabin

As Dave Whipple (Bushradical Youtube channel) recently said in a video, anyone can get an off grid cabin built fairly inexpensively if you are patient, determined, as frugal as possible and willing to make sacrifices. I converted a Mennonite shed into a cabin for a total of probably $4K to $4.5K (including shed that cost $3.2K). Much of the materials added to the cabin (insulation, chimney parts, floor boards, etc) were purchased second hand/ on sale/ or found for free. Of course, the land property was a separate, larger cost but this is where patience, frugality and sacrifice can also help reduce that cost.
