A beautiful model and talented film star Mena Suvari was welcomed in Newport, Rhode Island, in 1979. Initially, she wanted to become an archeologist. However, while studying at school, one modeling agency conducted its classes and Mena got interested.
Her path in the moviemaking business started from guest roles in various television series. In 1997 she made a debut in a film called Nowhere after which her acting gift was noticed. Right after that many producers piled her up with offers and she began regularly appearing on TV. Her most well-known works include American Beauty, American Virgin, American Pie and many others.

The father Ando was originally from Estonia. In 1954 he moved to the US, where he started working for the Department of Mental Health Services. He passed away in 2012, at the age of 91. Mena was very close with her dad and that’s why his death was a big loss for her.

The mother’s name is Candice and she is a nurse. In a marriage with Ando, she gave birth to four children and shares a tight bond with all of them.

The actress has three blood brothers. The first one is named Ando Jr. He graduated from the Citadel Military College of South Carolina and later served as a soldier in Germany, Egypt and Kuwait. Today, he is a real estate broker, working for Garrett Realty Partners and being in the list of top 5% of agents. As for his personal life, he is happily married and raises two children.

Sulev is the second brother and he works as a Global Head of Safety, Security and Resiliency in HP Incorporation. It is also known that he is married to a woman named Trisha.

The third brother Juri is an A320 Quality Inspector at Airbus. Unfortunately, his private life remains in secret.

Apart from having three blood brothers, there are also three half-siblings from Ando’s first marriage. Agu is a half-brother, who was delivered in Estonia. Nowadays, he resides in Rhode Island.

Madis is the second half-brother, who is a lawyer by profession. He also lives in Rhode Island.

Mari is a half-sister to the celebrity. Unfortunately, there is absolutely no information about her life.

As for Suvari’s relationship status, she was married thrice with director Robert Brinkmann being her first spouse. The two lovebirds had been married since 2000 and up till 2005.

In 2010 Mena walked down the aisle for the second time with a concert promoter Simone Sestito. Yet, the marriage was quite short-lived and ended in 2012.

The third husband is a set decorator and prop master Michael Hope. Mena and Michael tied the knot in 2018 and have been together till present moment.

Mena Suvari and her spouse are expecting a baby that is due to arrive in spring 2021.
