Maintaining the fleet: damage assessment of the Vectra B CDX and it's goodbye to the Vectra C 1.8 LS
We take a first look at the damage on the Vectra CDX that got smashed recently. With the nearside wheel jammed in the arch it's difficult to move and has hardly any steering. We manage to get it jacked up on the back of the recovery truck to get the wheels off.
Then, it's time to do a couple of jobs on the bargain basement Vectra C 1.8 LS, namely a new radiator and swapping over the tyres from the CDX. That's it ready to go to the new owner who hopefully won't introduce it to lamp post at "20 mph".
