Job Opportunities: Research Associate & Research Assistant |

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Guwahati Off-Campus, is inviting applications for the positions of Research Associate and Research Assistant for the project "Community Knowledge Platforms for Collective Action through Participatory Landscape Planning and Management in Assam and Meghalaya." This exciting opportunity offers a chance to contribute to a community-centric environmental project that promotes sustainable natural resource management and resilience-building in the regions of Assam and Meghalaya.

Positions Available:

1. Research Associate

Duration: 1 year (extendable)

Remuneration: ₹28,000/month

Key Responsibilities: Project implementation, field research, stakeholder coordination, report preparation, and more.
2. Research Assistant

Duration: 1 year (extendable)

Remuneration: ₹18,000/month

Key Responsibilities: Research assistance, stakeholder coordination, field research, documentation, and logistical support.
Eligibility:

A postgraduate degree in Social Sciences, Environmental Studies, Rural Development, or related fields with at least 55% marks.

Previous experience in research, project management, or fieldwork (preferred, especially in the North-East region of India).
