2023 has seen a number of historic by-election victories, and continued debate about the chances of the two main parties as we head towards the next general election. Meanwhile, increased levels of public concern around issues including immigration, the environment and the economy has shifted public debate. Join us to hear from a range of expert academics, pollsters and Westminster insiders as we discuss where the public stands on policies and parties, and present new public opinion research on education, ethnic minority voters, Brexit and the cost of living.

Together, UK in a Changing Europe and Focal Data have conducted a ground-breaking survey amongst the UK’s ethnic minority population which takes stock of the diverse social values, political opinions and voting intentions held by voters across the country. At this panel, we will be discussing the results of the survey, and what they mean for representation, participation and elections in the future.
