2022 Gold Coast Marathon Festival recap - Did it go to Plan?

On 30th June 2022 I headed up to the Gold Coast for the Gold Coast Marathon. The festival hasn't been run for over two years now due to COVID-19, so this was a great opportunity for so many to get re-acquainted with this race.

For me this would be my 9th marathon and 5th at the Gold Coast. I am a middle of the pack runner when it comes to the marathon.

This year has been a challenge as I left my full-time job to focus on coaching full-time at My Run Team. As such most of my attention has been on our amazing athletes and not so much on my own personal training. Knowing this my goal was to finish.
