1 // What is SWEM? --- SWEM stands for Star Worm Equestrian Mod. A mod I started to make purely out of me missing my beautiful horse Lucy. Since I can't be with her now due to finances, I will pour all of my love into this mod that everyone can enjoy! SWEM started as Star Worm Lighting Mod (SWLM still available on Forge) and has since grown to be the new standard for minecraft horse mods.

2 // What version will you release to? --- We are going to release for 1.16 (Java Forge).

3 // Will you backport to version 1.XX.2? --- We'll see how it goes. If y'all demand it and we have the budget, we'll backport as far back as 1.13.2. No to 1.12.2 or older, however, if you love an equine mod stuck in 1.12.2 - let us know! We are happy to integrate with or replace other mods for a more conclusive experience.

4 // Will SWEM be compatible with (insert mod here)? --- Currently, we haven't secured contact with any mods willing to work with us for compatibility, including Realistic Horse Genetics mod. We plan on filling that gap with our own in-house content. It should be mentioned that we are willing to work with other mods and are going out of our way to help keep SWEM friendly with other mods and modpacks.

5 // What's the current release date? --- Undefined.

6 // Will there be Pegasi, unicorns, hippocampi, hippogryphs, etc? --- Those will be added in the Phase 3 Release: Alight.

7 // Will there be horse breeding? --- Breeding and lineage is not yet added to SWEM. It is planned to be in the Phase 2 release, as well as more coat colors, etc.

8 // Who is Sweetboi? --- Sweetboi is our beloved boi. He gets his name from me having to come up with names for the modded 9 textures, so I named them for what they looked like (one is named talldarkandhandsome). As I painted him, I fell in love with him and he's now my favorite texture. He was intended to be a gray blue but i messed up and he turned out to just be blue. Given the originality of his coat, he has become very recognizable for SWEM and fanart.

9 // Is SWEM a mod or a server? --- Both! SWEM is a mod first and foremost, however, we are creating an official SWEM Server using the mod called SWEquestrian. They are planned to be released on the same day, including custom plug-ins for stores and registries! Woot!

10 // Do I have to pay to play? --- Nope! This mod will always be free to play - same with the official server, but donations sure do help keep it going!

11 // How can I help? --- You can either volunteer OR you can go to our Patreon and help us out there. Or both. (link below).

12 // How can I apply to volunteer? --- Ask @General (Head Admin) for a volunteer application! You must be minimum 15yr+ and in the discord server 7days!

13 // Can I make suggestions? --- Sure! Go to suggestions-faq and leave it there! However Phase 1 is closed so all suggestions (if accepted) will be pushed to Phase 2 or 3.

14 // What's going to be in Phase 1? --- Glad you asked! The first graphic down below is a condensed version of the master list. Check it out!

15 // What are the Phases? --- SWEM is a huge undertaking, and for awhile I was working alone. Phases are the sections I broke the mod up into so I wouldn't get overwhelmed and give up. Below the Master List graphic will be a short explanation of what each phase will bring. (See discord for phases)
