COPYING GOOGLE DOCS
Ok, this doesn’t take much time, without any further ado - copying the google document can be performed either from the google drive, or from the document itself. First locate the document on your google drive → click on it with a left mouse button, locate “make a copy” line and press it. There you go, and what I really like is that Google always puts “Copy of” text in the document’s name, so you can always tell where's the copy, and where's the original doc. And you can even do that with the additional menu. Select the file so it will get highlighted, and then there’s a toolbar in the top right corner, where you need a button with 3 dots, which is “more actions”. In its menu press “make a copy item” and there you go 2x.

CREATING COPY FROM THE DOC
Next option is performed from the document itself, so open one. There we go to the “File” item on the toolbar on top and pressing it, then a bit down and clicking “make a copy”. The new little window will appear, where we can rename the document in the first field, and a bit lower in the second field we select where it will be placed. I will press on the field and put the document into the main folder on my drive, pressing “Select” and OK to apply. Then the service will immediately create a document and redirect you to it in the new tab in the browser.

HOW TO COPY RESTRICTED DOCS
And a little extra tip from me - if you want to edit the restricted document that you can only view - you can always make its copy with a single button press from the doc, save it to your Google Drive and have unlimited access to it. Open up the restricted document in a view mode, go to the “File” item on the toolbar on the left, down to “make a copy”. Then you can rename it and select where you want to place it, like in the the main folder on your drive. The newly created copy will open up in the new tab, and now it is fully open and available to you, you can locate it on your drive.
