How the Steam Deck could impact Nintendo's handhelds
Since the Switch OLED came out, I've been thinking about what other competitors would need to do in order to dethrone Nintendo as the handheld leader. With the Steam Deck not too far from launching, I thought of a few scenarios that might make an impact to Nintendo's bottom line. Everything's speculation of course but still pretty nifty to think through.
Small correction:
At launch, the Steam Deck is looking to target 30fps for currently demanding games (not 60fps). Though, we all have our fingers crossed that the hardware should be enough to play many games at native resolution while maintaining 60fps.
