Tesla Model Y Quality September Update - Has it Improved

How are Tesla Model Y deliveries looking now that we are into September, 6 months after the launch of the Tesla Model Y? This is a follow up video to our Quality Update done last month.

There are some interesting updates to be seen in the current deliveries of the Tesla Model Y. Last time we did an update, there were still some issues with the deliveries, however, they were certainly better cars being delivered than at the beginning. Is that still the case now?

There is some good news and bad news here with the Tesla Model Y. For starters, we are starting to see consistency on the items corrected from the last update, however, there are some new issues with the Tesla Model Y that we did not see during the last update.

Some of the new issues we are seeing with the Tesla Model Y are door alignment as a whole, but also specifically over the rocker panels. Of course the white paint on the bumper still does not match the rest of the car either. Some minor lift gate alignment issues, but at least we are seeing consistency with them now. Of course the tail lights have not yet been fixed either.

Some of the good news with the Tesla Model Y is that the headlight corners seem to have been addressed now, wheel well trim is showing consistency and has been addressed, generally panel gaps look much tighter throughout, frank alignment is consistent and good, A pillar is no longer the largest gap on the car.
