So the SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that he'll be giving away a cash prize of $100,000,000 ($100 million) to teams that can find the best solutions to Carbon Capture and Carbon Removal technologies. It's in partnership with X Prize and could play an important role in beating climate change, or at least make up for the amount of greenhouse gases we throw into the atmosphere each year with direct air capture. But I think he's doing this for another reason...Mars.
