Replit has released Agent 3, which is a big upgrade over their previous Agent version (V2). The key improvements are around autonomy, speed, cost-efficiency, and workflow automation.

Major New Features
1. App Testing & Auto-Fixing
• Agent 3 now tests apps it builds using a real browser — it clicks through forms, buttons, APIs, etc., to check that things work. 
• If it finds issues, it can auto-fix them. 
• You can see a live browser preview in the Agent pane, including seeing its cursor move around. 
• App Testing is on by default, but can be turned off. It also has a “Max Autonomy (Beta)” mode for more extensive tasks. 

2. Ability to Build Other Agents & Automations
• Agent 3 can now create its own sub-agents and automations from natural language prompts. 
• Examples include bots for Slack, Telegram, automated workflows (e.g. daily reminders), integrations with Notion, Linear, Dropbox, SharePoint.
• There is a UI for connecting services securely (no manual pasting of API keys required). 

3. Longer Autonomous Runtime
• Agent 3 can run for extended sessions (up to ~200 minutes or more) with minimal supervision. 
• It can self-supervise, manage task lists, monitor its own progress.

4. New App Creation Flow
• You can start building either full-stack apps immediately, or begin with just the frontend for rapid prototyping/design, and add backend later if needed.

• More efficient: Agent 3 is reportedly 3× faster and 10× more cost-effective compared to previous “Computer Use models.”
