There are some improvements in the gameplay:
1. the planes will stop automatically at the runway before they take off. Since the time spent on the runway is increased, make sure there is enough separation between any planes using the runway.
2. Towing planes need not to be dealt with immediately.

New Chitose Airport (CTS/RJCC) & Chitose Air Base (RJCJ):
The first 24-hour airport in Japan, the largest one in the Hokkaido region and is characterized by the semi-circular domestic terminal.

The Chitose Air Base is the previous site of Chitose airport until the new airport is open, and now the air base is used by the JASDF planes (the runways may be used to relieve runway closures at New Chitose in winter seasons).

There are altogether 4 runways:
Alpha runway (A - 01L/19R): for cilivian planes (mainly used in this game)
Bravo runway (B - 01R/19L): for cilivian planes
East runway (E - 18L/36R): for JASDF planes using spot 51 & 52, i.e. transporting planes residing near the domestic terminal (unless W runway is closed)
West runway (W - 18R/36L): for JASDF planes using spots N1, N2, S1, S2, i.e. military planes residing near the tower of Chitose Air Base.

(New Chitose Airport easily becomes one of the most popular airports within the game because it has a bit of everything: various domestic, international, cargo and military planes, multiple runways to be used, and the extraordinary scenery when the airport is covered by snow.

Explanation: The first 3 stages will show how the airport looks like in summer. Planes staying in the airport overnight will need to be towed to the boarding gates.

When selecting taxiing route for departing planes, choose the C option to avoid the incoming approaching planes.

Some spots are designated for specific flights:
Spot 6, 11: ADO/ANA flights (100 bonus points for ANA planes)
Spot 16, 19: SKY/HAC/JAL flights (100 bonus points for JAL planes)
(Spot 6 and 19 are also designated to serve DHC8s from ANA & HAC respectively, see stage 1-3 for details.)
