[TIMESTAMPED LIVE STREAM] 2nd Day of Testing 6 NEW Fuel Injectors For Our Rocket Engine!
Dear Rocket fans! We are thrilled to announce that this Easter, the entire Copenhagen Suborbitals crew will be spending the holidays testing our latest engine development technology on the test bench!
And it is not just going to be a couple of test shots, it will be the busiest test weekend ever in CS history with 15 engine tests planned over two days!
The smaller BPM5 engine was born with a showerhead-style injector that has a few drawbacks, especially when you need to scale it up to a 100 kN version for the BPM100 engine. Thus, for quite a while now we have been working on coaxial swirler based injectors and we are now ready to test this in a static hot fire. We aim to test this injector type on small scale and thus we have developed a BPM5 sized injector with coaxial swirler elements. To really learn something about this type of injector we have actually made six different versions! They differ in a few key aspects:
1) Mixture ratio
2) Film cooling
3) Fabrication technology
The static test will naturally be streamed live on our YouTube channel and all of the test results will be posted right here, on our website http://www.copsub.com and our social media channels as soon as we have analyzed them.
So stay tuned for the busiest test campaign ever in CS history!

Copenhagen Suborbitals is the world's only crewed, crowdfunded space program. In the future, a volunteer astronaut will fly to space on our home-built rocket. We do this on our spare time, all the donations go to paying our workshop rent and buying materials. We are forever thankful to each of our supporters!
