This course is all about rotations. Here you’ll learn some of the most typical swing dance moves such as the tuck turn and the sailor step, and the more in-depth turning techniques they require. You’ll also start learning how to speed up your dancing so that you can combine Charleston and Lindy Hop variations within a single dance.

What will I learn in this course?
Each of these moves will come with its own fun variations, but this checklist shows the fundamental moves you’ll learn in the class. Once you know these, you’re ready to move on to the next level.

- charleston: tuck turn closed-to-open, tuck turn open-to-open; sailor steps
- lindy hop: tuck turn closed-to-open; redirections and variations
- mixing: combining lindy hop and charleston within your dancing

What should I know before I join this course?
In Swing 3 we build up on the foundation laid in both the Swing 1 and Swing 2 courses.
