Sailing The Camper & Nicholson 38ft Ketch

Ahoy guys!!!

Aboard Brenton's Camper and Nicholson, an English design dating back to 1782. Promise 2 was built in 1971.Hull number 74.
She slices up the water well and has a comfortable sea motion.
I guess you'd expect that being an English design and 200 years of sailing!!! :-)

Brenton is a great character, it's been a joy sailing along side him.
He single hands his boat and he makes it look all too easy!!!

Keppel is wonderful, but it's time to move on, we have some strong SE winds coming Monday (tomorrow) for three days....

As cyclone season is on the horizon, I've no idea how far North we will get, but it's time... Nature said so :-)

I've loved Keppel Island, what was meant to be a quick stop off has turned into 3 months of exploring, free diving and kite surfing....
