Green Heron Uses Stick as Fishing Lure
The green heron is one of the world's few tool-using birds. In this video a green heron stands on a concrete dam and repeatedly drops a small stick in the water, in the hopes that it will attract fish. Until I got home and looked up what kind of bird it is, I thought he was removing debris to keep the lake tidy. 😄 Now it makes more sense!
