Art Vlog No.1 | Artist Trip to London!

Join me for a few days as I visit the big city to hand over a painting for an exhibition, do some art shopping and visit a couple of galleries. The exhibition is the Royal Watercolour Society Open. It's an annual exhibition and anyone can enter. If you are a watercolour (or gouache, or acrylic) artist you can think about entering, many of the people I met at the opening were first time exhibitors and were pleased and surprised to be accepted, as was I. There's a small charge, and if you're accepted you need to have work professionally framed and get it to and from the gallery so it's worth considering if that outlay is worth it for you.

This is my first foray into this type of content (ok - maybe not exactly the first - I tried a vlog several years ago but no-one watched it!) so there is lots I have to learn. I became aware when editing this that there was more I could have done when filming to make the storytelling better - I will get there. If there's an aspect of the artist's life you're interested in seeing, please let me know. I don't plan to do these too often, only when there's something interesting to show or say.
