Why? Because nothing could ever top it. I talk about Shoujo Commando Izumi, a Japanese delinquent schoolgirl series from 1988. Originally planned as a sequel to the hit tv show sukeban deka, it quickly became it's own series about a terminator girl with a rocket launcher. Part Bionic woman, part terminator, it's a show that could only come out of the 80s. It was so off the wall they simply couldn't top it & it ended up being the last in this series of dramas. An ongoing series of reviews where kenny lauderdale discuss dramas about delinquent girls with crazy weapons.
