5 Man Strat- Outback, Defending Compressor & Gear: Rainbow Six Siege Burnt Horizon

Hey guys, this time I show you a 5 man strat on how to defend Compressor and Gear on the brand new map Outback with the operators: Mira, Smoke, Mute, Maestro and Bandit in Rainbow Six Siege Burnt Horizon.

Mira begins by reinforcing the right-hand side of the West wall in Gear. She then gets the far left-hand side of the North wall in Gear and places her first Mirror Window on said wall, before placing her shield in the North door of Gear to stop a Twitch Drone from entering. Mira then rotates into Beer Fridge, where she places her second Mirror Window on the two reinforcements (that Smoke will reinforce), on the West side. Mira then rotates through Garage and upstairs, where she will play above the bomb sites to prevent an attacker opening up above the Anchors.

Smoke starts by heading into Beer Fridge and reinforcing the left two panels on the West side (where the Mirror Window goes). He then moves into Waiting Room where he places his first piece of Barbed Wire halfway down the corridor. Smokes second piece of Barbed Wire goes outside the North door of Gear and Smoke plays in Gear behind the Mirror Window. From here he can make a vault rotation into Compressor and use his Toxic Gas Canisters to block off both objectives.

Mute begins by placing his first Mute Jammer behind the wall where the Mirror Window goes in Gear. He then reinforces the two South walls of Gear, but making sure he does so from inside Convenience store. He can then shoot a small hole on the inside of the reinforced wall from Gear and place a Mute Jammer inside the reinforcement, which means it will then be protected from a Twitch Drone. His third Mute Jammer goes inside the doorway to Beer Fridge and his final Jammer behind the Mirror Window in Beer Fridge. Mute plays behind said Mirror Window where he can protect the South door of Compressor. He can also shoot a hole above the South reinforcement in Beer Fridge, to enable him to throw his C4 onto anyone pushing Waiting.

Maestro places his shield in the door between the bomb sites. He then rotates through to Kitchen where he reinforces two of the triple wall leading to Compressor. He turns around and places his first Evil Eye on the end of one of the beer barrels before shooting open the hatch above Kitchen. He then rotates back through Gear and over to Waiting, where he places his second Evil Eye on the South door frame, which can see into Garage and Waiting for intel. Maestro plays in Convenience Store stopping a push from Waiting and using his first Evil Eye to help Bandit, Bandit trick the triple wall of Compressor.

Bandit starts by reinforcing the South wall of Beer Fridge and placing his first Bandit Battery on it. He then places both his pieces of Barbed Wire outside the South door of Compressor, before finally reinforcing the final panel of the triple wall in Compressor. This is where Bandit plays, tricking the wall to try and stop anyone entering from Kitchen.
