Sir Jeffrey Donaldson MP - Brexit and Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland has been a central issue in Brexit and the DUP has played a pivotal role in shaping the withdrawal process. In his address to the IIEA, Sir Jeffrey Donaldson MP discusses the implications of Brexit for Northern Ireland and the role to be played by the DUP in securing a resolution to the UK’s EU withdrawal.

About the Speaker:

Jeffrey Donaldson MP is Chief Whip of the DUP Party and has also been appointed UK Trade Envoy to Egypt. He was a key member of the Ulster Unionist Party team in the Belfast Agreement negotiations concluding in April 1998. As a member of the DUP, he subsequently negotiated the review of the Belfast Agreement which culminated in a new Agreement at St Andrew’s in 2006.
