Mike McCarthy has officially been hired as the 17th head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers and thus the Mike McCarthy Era Has Begun for the Steelers. He had his introductory press conference, got emotional, and immediately opened up about what the city of Pittsburgh and the history of the Steelers franchise means to him. He spoke from a place of sincerity and care. The Steelers have a coach that wants to win them a championship and although there are serious doubts, that's all we wish for is a championship. Mike McCarthy has a lot of work to do, even with the team refuses to rebuild. Mike McCarthy has to build a great coaching staff and develop a new franchise QB. Let's get to work coach.
