This was the first CD I have purchased in about 20 years. After listening to it the past couple days, almost on a loop, I can why it makes just about every list of must own audiophile CDs.
This is a must own, if you want to truly test your system’s capabilities!

Where I Purchased - From a shipping company that got stuck with them, due to the shipping damage.
Listed Price - $200
Price Paid - $200
Condition - 65%
These were priced so low due to a couple broken, due to shipping. The cabinet also had a couple condition issues but they will look 100%, when in place.
Quality - 7.5
The cabinets feel nice and sturdy, along with the speaker components.
The biggest complaint are the feet. These feel cheaper than I’d like to see for a pair speakers that are slightly over $1,000. I might be a little influenced by the fact that two feet were broken with this set but the way they are attached doesn’t feel all that sturdy.
They are very nicely built speakers. I just think it would be a good idea for Polk to upgrade the foot/attachment method the next generation.
Everything else feels right quality for this price range.
Sound - 9.0
The bass was flat out awesome! I really like the sound these speakers produce and imagine that they would be excellent for home theater, which most people probably buy these for.
Nice crisp highs, easy to drive and will get about as loud as you’d ever need, in most houses.
MSRP Rating - 8.5
There’s no doubt about it, performance like these speakers produce should cost way more.
The looks/performance ratio is quite high with these speakers. Worth every penny, especially if you can find them on sale or used!
Aesthetics - 8.0
These are great looking speakers. I really like the wood finish, mixed with the modern plastics. Just has a clean yet powerful look to them.
Grills off for show, grill on for more of a speaker that blends.
Price Paid Value - 7.5
Due to the broken feet and the cabinet damage, I had to detract quite a bit here. I very rarely buy speakers with damage but this deal was just too good to pass up, considering they’re new.
Average Guy HiFi Rating - 40.5/50 = 81%
Final Thoughts -
This score is lower than I like for these speakers but unfortunately, the damage really hurt the score.
These are wonderful sounding speakers that deliver bass that should fill most rooms with clear and impactful bass (still need a subwoofer IMO).
