Queen Nefertari Exhibit
This is my montage of the Queen Nefertari Exhibit presented at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City Missouri . Exhibitions at the museum have a fee but the rest of the museum is free. It is a rather impressive collection. I was only able to see a portion of it. I have some other posts of the museum on my channel so please check it out. I am in no way affiliated with the museum. What I liked about this exhibition was it was not all just Egyptian funeral art. They had some workman's tools like paint brushes and pigments. For me the best objects were the wooden hammers and chisels. I swear I own chisels which look exactly like the ones on display just not as worn out. The objects also were not all "royal" with items found in tombs of working class Egyptians.
Yes that is not a typo in the title. The name of the exhibit is Nefertari, as there was a Queen Nefertari. Queen Nefertiti was also a known monarch but is more widely known. The exhibit gives information on both.
