California Supercell - Fresno & Madera County - March 13, 2023

A California supercell slowly moved through Fresno county on the evening of March 12, 2023. In its lifespan, it dropped several inches of rain and hail to the size of half dollars. This comes only days after yet another strong Atmospheric River (AR) dumped heavy rains and snow on the saturated state.

The storm originated around Firebaugh and traveled ESE through Kerman, Fresno, Selma, and Kingsburg, before losing its supercell structure and characteristics.
