Aerial China: Why these Tan sheep in Ningxia exercise every day

It is common to prefer fat sheep, but Tan sheep in Yanchi County, northwest China's #Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, do exercise every day to stay lean. Why? For the protection of an already fragile local environment, the sheep are raised in pens, which curtails their movements and fattens them up. To maintain an ideal weight of 16 to 18 kilograms, they are let out to run twice a day, morning and evening.
