Hot start problem on my 1991 OBS Ford F-150? A $37 ground cable from O'Reilly's fixed it. No mechanic, no drama. Here's exactly what I did.

Truck was dragging hard on startup after getting to operating temperature — like right after a trip to the gym. Starter would barely crank. Felt like it was going to leave me stranded. Before throwing a new starter at it, I raised it up, checked the ground straps, and found a ground cable that was still original from 1991. Copper was green inside. Creating resistance in the whole starting circuit.

Picked up a replacement from O'Reilly's for $37. Hit the mounting point with a Dremel to shine it up. Bolted it in. Fired right up — every single time.
