Richard Clayderman - Mysterious eternity - 2002

‘Mysterious Eternity’ is a studio album featuring 10 original titles composed by Paul de Senneville, with Richard introducing a new “world music” style to his performance.

This album “Mysterious Eternity” is different from my previous recordings. Some titles come close to World Music, others are on the edge of the music trend commonly called “repetitive music”, but the album as a whole does not lose its romanticism which is anchored, forever, in the deepest part of me.

I express some feelings which I only have touched on before. The truth is that I have grown with the years and that some very painful events have affected our world, the music which I play lately reflects my questions about life – which are also yours. Those who are close to me and those who I meet by chance during my voyages ask themselves what will happen to our world as we know it today. This album interprets both my doubts and my hopes.
