Episode 43 I Kinetic 1:48 Sea Harrier FRS.1 Update II & Final Reveal

The second and final part in the SHAR. This is the first time that I've tried to build an historical aircraft, namely FRS.1 XZ450 of 800 Sqn FAA based on HMS Hermes. The aircraft was part of the Task Force sent to the Falklands Islands in 1982 to relieve them of Argentine forces. During its first mission XZ450 was hit by ground fire and destroyed, and her pilot Lt. Nick Taylor became the first Sea Harrier pilot killed in the conflict. XZ450 also was the very first FRS.1 to fly.

I can highly recommend this kit not only if you want to build a FRS.1 but also for the sheer amount of different aircraft you can build using the kit decals. 14 different squadrons of both Royal Navy and Indian Navy are supplied.
