2010 Nissan Altima P0455 P0442 EVAP Leak Testing

In this video I will show you standard procedures I use to test the EVAP Purge and Vent Solenoids as well as leak tests that can be applied to any car, not just Nissan. I will be using a smoke machine to aid in my diagnosis (see link below on where to get one).

Symptoms
- check engine light
P0455 EVAP System Leak (Large)
P0442 EVAP System Small Leak Detected

Fix
- replace stuck open EVAP Canister Vent Control Valve (solenoid)
