Short Shift Slop Fix

The "cheap" short shift kit on ebay and amazon, for the Porsche is a great option, but it does have a side to side slop. This slop can be fixed with a shim washer. The repair can be made with the shift kit in the car, so if you already installed the short shift, no worries get a shim and tight that right up!

Use a feeler gauge to measure the gap and get an estimate of what size shim you will need, loosen up teh pivot bolt, slide it back (don't take it all the way out), slide in the shims, tighten up the bolts and boom! no more slop!

The shims are M10 and they will need to be the .1, .2 .3 .5 mm versions, no thicker than that
