My wife surprised me with trip to Florida for my 50th birthday! Can you believe it! I brought back some shells from the beach and thought I could cast one in resin and make a top. I had some trouble with the stem and had to fix it twice after the original broke. I also don't have the patience to wait for the resin to cure fully, so that may have something to do with it.
